This Privacy Policy explains how Budgetreel ("Budgetreel", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the web application at alibapps.com (the "Service"). We keep the Service deliberately data-light: we only collect what is needed to let you sign in and store your budgets.

1. Who we are

Budgetreel is an independent budgeting tool for production companies. For any privacy question or request, contact us at ali_caster@hotmail.com.

2. What we collect

Account data — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from Google. We never see your Google password.
Your content — the budgets, sections, line items, and project details you create in the app.
Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated when your browser talks to our server, used for security and reliability.

We do not use advertising trackers, sell your data, or share it with data brokers.

3. Why we use it (legal basis)

To authenticate you and keep you signed in (performance of our contract with you).
To store and sync your budgets across your devices (performance of our contract).
To keep the Service secure and operational (our legitimate interest).

4. Where your data is stored

Your account and budget data are stored in a PostgreSQL database on a private server located in the European Union (Finland). Daily encrypted-at-rest backups are retained for a short rotation window for disaster recovery.

5. Third parties

Google— used only for sign-in (OAuth). See Google's privacy policy for how they handle your login.
Currency rates — exchange rates are fetched from a public rates API. No personal data is sent in that request.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. While signed out, budgets you create are kept only in your browser's local storage (a free trial) and are never sent to us until you sign in and save.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR and Turkey's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can delete your account and all associated budgets at any time from your account settings, or by emailing ali_caster@hotmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your budgets and personal data are removed from the live database; residual copies in rotating backups are overwritten within the backup rotation window.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
